65 pieces, clay individuals embody a tiny mime, an emotive narrative spark that is human and recognizable.
The sculptures you see here are sand cast concrete objects. The hollow forms give shape to that which they contain; ideas of refuge and equilibrium, seen in the balance between stone and liquid.
We already know everything we need to know about objects and space. These sculptures were made by students at SUNY Cortland, while teaching sculpture from 2001 to 2006.
